Down the side of the passenger seat right now.

TETRA radio is in the boot with the faceplate sat in front of the transfer box lever.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

Just in front of my left knee.  It's close, but I've never hit it yet.  repeater speaker is on the back of teh central cubby box so it's central in teh truck for all to hear.

mine is between the driver seat and centre console. I chose here as it is out the way and also I can rest my elbow on the cubby box and my fingers sit neatly on the squelch button to easily adjust it whilst on the move.

mine is of a large vintage variety, and as such sits nicely in the glove box (or glove hole to be more accurate)

cant help but think some of the dash mounted ones could obscure view of the road (or off-road..!) thus could be iffy come MOT time

also highly visable to local scrotes.. who think its a "proper wicked cd player innit?"

Ja1983

even with the rig on the dash the bonnet front is still hiding the road more and also with the slide mount it comes out in a flash so it can be hidden or taken out .

I like having it in the middle of the dash because every one in the car can use it :D  :D
