td 5 0n bio diesel

will a td5 engine run on biodiesel well? What about a mix? The price of fuel is gettin ridiculous now so i was pondering other options. Any one run a td5 on bio diesel? thanks

It depends on who you ask.  I have heard other people saying no to biodiesel in the TD5, but I have equally heard many people say that their TD5 runs very happily on biodiesel.  So there is no definitive answer I'm afraid.   :(

We have numerous TD5 owners who use our biodiesel with no problems.  Some prefer to use a 50/50 or 75/25 biodiesel/dino diesel mix.   :wink:

i wouldnt on either a TD4 or a TD5 as the in tank pumps dont like it
