Fuel tank breather pipe.

Does anybody know where is the fuel tank breather pipe is? And what effect does this have on the engine if its blocked?  :-k  :-k  :-k  :-k

IIRC it is on top of the fuel filler and vents through the filler cap I think. The reason for knowing this is that I got water in £40 worth of derv when I hydrlocked my engine :cry: . As you will see from the pic the side fitted snorkel has been removed.
