The madness continues
The HSE you can't operate police and rescue services with hard and fast rules. Good training and the right equipment but at the end of the day if these people and the general public didn't take risks a lot of people would die.I can see where this is going the next thing will be insurance companies refusing to payout if someone dies trying to rescue someone.

Wasn't there a report recently in the media that a certain Fire Brigades 'top-brass' banned the crews from assisting a local charity/Lions Club/Rotary Club (whichever) from taking the banners & bunting down after a gala/carnival??The 'brass' were concerned that the crews had to climb ladders..............................
Personally i think H&S should be correctly rebranded "common sense" and taught in secondary schools instead of obselete studies such as religion, french, and PE.
