I'm off to Paddocks after work to pick up some new hardy spicer ones to replace my cream crackered ones

Thanks in advance

You just need standard automotive grease, nothing special, what about the nipple on the slider that will need doing too

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

If you are off roading your Land Rover greasing the props is one of the most important and most regular maintenance jobs you do.  I know it means you have to get underneath, but it is well worth the effort.

I use Castrol LM grease in the props and prop UJs.

Always remember to grease your UJ's when warm....., the grease goes to all four pots that way......, I use a hair dryer to warm mine

...on the subject of warm, always try to remember EXHAUSTS GET HOT and should NOT be used as crawling handles... unless its really chilly out!

I also use JCB Blue grease...

its a bit thicker than normal LM grease, and is much better at repelling water...
