« on: November 15, 2007, 10:17:13 »
hello,
for those of you that read the defender section you will remember this, my 90 200tdi had starting issues that magically disapeared but now my dads disco L reg 200 tdi suffers the same symtoms, it turns over alot when the engine is cold, or has been stud around a while, i never solved the problem on my 90 but i changed one injector bolt and thats the only thing i did to fix it  :?

has anyone had the same symtoms and how did you solve it?

cheers kieran :?

Its probobly the same thing again. If your glow plugs are ok then fuel is draining back into the tank or the lift pump is gone. Any air ingress will allow fuel to drain back so check all hoses and bolts.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
