Whilst I don't necessarily share your voting advice ;-)  I have sent an email off to Angie Bray to thank her for having the guts to come out and ask for a dose of common sense.

Let's hope this is the start of a change of attitude... and hope that we are having an influence with the powers that be.

I liked this bit :)  not exactly what you'd call pro-public transport

Hmm, she's obviously unaware of the past restrictions on HGV's in the capital, the old GLC permit scheme, mid '80's.  I do like politicians who do their homework

I doubt very much that the tories have anything other than their own well-being at heart; leopards dont change their spots, it's simply vote-mongering, IF they were to be voted in (please God NO!!!!!) they'd soon forget any pledges they made!!

Sadly most politicians seem to act for their own benefit.

Regardless of any political inclination, I applaud any politician who comes out with a statement in opposition of 'media' opinion in a call for common sense.. it made a refreshing change...  even better that it supported our views !

Of course we know the labour party are whiter than white, and pigs fly south for the winter and Lord Locan can be seen in Brighton riding Sheargar.  I had a good job 'till these useless b*****s got in, I've lived in a labour controlled area all my life and I've never encountered such a self serving bunch of hypocrits anywhere, remember Donygate!!!!!!!!!!

I've come across one of the Doncaster councillers involved on several occassions. Every time he was due in court he'd have a 'health scare' & come to our Hospital.
Some of us knew his background & were gald when he got what he deserved.
His name?, well he's got the same initials as a TV 'reality'-programme that's well-discussed on here.

Listen...... I don't care if it is votemongering, I'll vote for anyone who has a realistic view of things, especially if it challenges labours destruction of the rural way of life. I noticed this week, tucked away on page 7 of my local rag, that Gordon's been at it again proposing a £50k tax on all open air shows where more than 6000 people attend. That should see off a few more of the rural county shows
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it ain't dirty, do something about it!!

Yeah, I know it's not white and it's not a 90 but my last one was :-)
