It does look like someone has kicked it hard in the balls (Diffs?) and made its eyes stick out!

It would probably look much better covered in a thick layer of mud.

It looks like a cheap knock off copy of itself (the truck) like a Santana, but worse.

yeah i agree. But no doubt it will go down a storm with the average public, who might be temted to buy it instead of an L200 or summot, so they can use it to mount kerbs in chelsea's town centre. so land rover will proably be thrilled with it.

The grille is a bit Lego really.  But I'm sure they won't have any problems selling them.  My friend who works for them is thinking of selling his 50th LE for one.

I don't have too much trouble with the silver cage. It's the grille and those odd looking lamp rims that.... well...... look cheap.

Really, for yourself? Nice, I like its beefy looks but want to see one in the flesh as the photograph perspective looks adjusted (even Zara Phillips looks fatter and shorter)

Is this just a face lift of the 2007 model or is it as someone said yesterday this was the model aimed to reintroduce the defender back into the North American markets? Can't see that as true myself as the last I heard the model for the US market was planned around 2014 with a totally new chassis and airbags and such other voodoo (If LR is still around in 2014).

I suppose it has a nice shape. Nice curves at the front, but not too much overhang at the rear…….and I guess the Land Rover isn’t too bad either!!!!

Strange grill but the spec sounds alright
Ipod and subwoofers, in a Defender
And a proper roll cage instead of the fake one the 50th's got
