On alloy wheels.

Got some Shogun alloys for the mav.

My studs are smaller than the bolt holes in the wheels. Steel inserts are just a compression fit made by heating the alloy and pressing them in correct?

I'm pretty sure you just need the correct nuts, be careful Mav/T2 nuts are 1.25 pitch which isn't the norm so don't try winding something else down.

I'll check my spare nuts for the alloys, see what they're like.

What size is the hole in the alloy?

Anyone know what shogun nuts are like?

You can see in the photo how the end has a sleeve that locates the wheel. On the standard Maverick ones this measure 15.7mm
