Hi chaps, Got home and tried both handsets again, no joy. Then i pressed the open button four or five times in quick succession and it unset. Did the same with the other handset and that worked too. Now they both set and unset with just the one press and at some distance. Normal three indicator flashes on set and one long on unset with interior light function. Strange, they both seemed to have lost synchronisation with the alarm unit. Will have to see if it becomes a regular event. So in true railwayman fashion, NFF, No Fault Found. Thanks for the advice given.
