subject came up in another thread I mentioned I bypassed the sedimenter as it corroded and leaked, since then had no probs with it, but some people think it not wise, and as I have another 200tdi that has been shortened drasticaly and the tank has been resited and now wonder if not having a sedimenter is a good or not so good idea,
your views please

I removed mine nearly six years ago, no problems since.

Just keep on top of draining the water from the bulkhead filter and all should be well - or change the bulkhead filter for a filter/sedimenter combo jobbie and all will be even better...........
Son, life has a habit of kicking you in the ass and i only have vague recollections of when it wasn't kickin mine!

The tap on the botom of mine won't budge.... so i just left it alone....
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!
