Just fit my 200 tdi engine to my 90 and have noticed it has a Garrett turbo fitted. Is this standard, as I am sure I have read somewhere that it was a common upgrade or am I completely on the wrong lines?

Garrett turbo's are a standard fit, although people have fitted different/bigger turbo's to their truck.

Yup it is standard to have a garrett turbo. IIRC it should be a T25 where as the 300TDI had one by allied signals i think (the book is downstairs.)
Just for reference the TD had a T2. same as the Prima for that fact too.
