Building a trailer out of 90 / 110 rear tub
« on: November 30, 2007, 19:25:17 »
I have posted something similar before but here I am again!  I really want to build a trailer that matches my 110. I was thinking a 110 tub on a custom built frame.

How would you do it?  Obviously I want to end up with land rover wheels, little 8" trailer wheels wouldnt have the same effect!  I read something about someone using part of a land rover chassis but siurely that would weight a tonne!  DO I need a land rover axle or is there a better way?

I can weld, have access to a welder and am looking forward to it.  Anyone got suggestions as to the best way of doing it?

All ideas welcome.....

Cheers all,

Mike

Land Rover repair guide, Don't fix anything, because if you do something else always breaks, so fix nothing and nothing will break!!!

get a cheap sankey, cut the tub off and stick a 110 tub on, easy, frame, brakes etc all there!
