Congrats on your purchase!
Erm, 205/80/16 sounds a bit small...are you sure you are right about the size?

They sound high but narrow. Would make a mess of rear wheel arches I think without a lift and a camel cut, I messed my wheel rear arches yesterday and I got standard size tyres (235/70R16) with a 2" lift but they are quite agressive tyres.

205/80R16 are standard fit on the Disco if you have steel wheels, the 235/80 are the same rolling radius but wider tyres fitted as an option and to posher models.
Range Rovers always had 205s, the manual says 225/75 for the wider fitment but nowadays 237/70 are easier to get hold of as it's a popular size.
Anyway, yes they will fit with little or no effort, if the tread is super knobly you may rub the radius arms on full lock.

Kiteman I think I saw in a previous thread that you got your Disco for greenlaning...in which case I would probably go for something a bit more chunky if possible.

hi thanks for your answers, they are 205 80 16 on steels,i've found out that they have come off a standard disco which also has been used for green laning,he sold the vehicle and kept these wheels.i do alot of farm work and the old farmers have said that they will always go for thinner than thicker m/t tyres.i used to work on 1500 acre mountain farm at devils bridge in wales and on the 90 we had,had this size tyre and it would go any where over the mountain.

If that is the case then go for the most aggressive tyre in that size unless you drive a lot on the road. Insa turbo special tracks?

I guess they will see you quite far because they are similar tread pattern to my colway m/t's but if i was working on a 1500 acre site i would want to know that i WASNT going to get stuck!

These are the ones i was on about.
Others might advise better/different.

They seem fine actually, might "look" a bit narrow on the truck but they should get you most places.

These are what I got
http://www.bronco4x4.com/productDetails.asp?productID=909
but I wouldn't rely on Bronco because they are fu**ing sh*t and have a really bad customer service! Oh, and they keep saying they'll ring you back and never do!!!!! Tyres are good though. 3-5 days delivery they said, 28 phone calls and 3 weeks later they arrived but without the locking nuts they should have sent!
