if so why not in the rear tub?

That's where the shopping goes ?

Seriously, the motor is a five seater (one seat is being used for a lockable cubby box) cabrolet (it's a customised ragtop that folds down on pnematic shocks)

Err.. 3.9 V8i Automatic, we moved the fuel tank because the disco 2 seats and console we're putting in the front needed some tweaking to the seatbox and it seemed sensible.
