here is a post did on plcuk
i have just changed the bearing on the front output flange on the transfere box. its quite a straight forward job but can take a little patiants Wink .... heres a step by step guide. ( look at pics in order )
1: remove the front prop shaft by undoing the 8 x 14mm nuts and dropping prop out the way
2: put the trasfere box in diff lock and put in gear. now undo the 30mm nut on the flange. this is quite easy with a large exstansion bar.
3: remove 2 washers underneath the nut. you should find first a steel washer and then a felt washer. remember the order that they came out in.
4: you will now be able to pull the flange assembly out
5: under the flange you will see am oil seal. prise this out with a screwdriver. be careful not to score the tranfere box.
6: you should now see a circlip on the outside of the bearing. remove this. you should now be able to pull the shaft and bearing out. you may need to use a screwdriver to pirse it out but with patiants it will come.
7: grease the newbearing up . replace the saft into the transfere bow and then push bearing in. make sure you tap it in gently.
8: now replace circlip and seal. then put on flange and replace propshaft.
this job is easy enough for most home mechanics to do. so if your box is leaking ep90 from the front seal then dont be too afraid to have a go.
