The beauty of fitting 750's or 235/85's on a Disco is you get up to 1.5 inches extra clearance under the axle diffpan over 205's. It can make all the difference when off-road.
I have 750-16 xcl's for offroading plus 2 ich lift they perform well off road but make road speeds over 55mph very interesting indeed.
You could have a second set of tyres for playing though! and keep normal ones for the road.

Is it caused by the tyres, the lift, the combination? Is there more work to be done in order to improve things?I've heard many people talk about doing a 2" lift and fitting larger tyres, but every now and then a little "but..." or two get mentioned. It's something I have considered doing but I'd like to get the whole story on the overall effect it has on the car.Having to drive at <= 55MPH would wipe it off my list
