Is this supposed be a technical area?
« on: December 18, 2007, 09:45:11 »
Please delete this if it's innapropriate, but are the area's for specific models suppost to be technical discussions? I know aestetics do come into the cars and I'm not having a dig at anyone, I'm just confused, being a newbie and all, what are the general discussions areas and the Lobby for?

According to the forum title yes it would seem that it is. As it says vehicle and technical and there's no other section for Discovery. So I guess it must be.

Haha, pmsl, I know what you mean, it's just other forums I'm a member of only technical topics, ie information requsts and work done to the truck or car is the only things allowed in the topic, all other general stuff goes in the Lobby or Lounge or off topics areas. I'm only trying to find out how it all works  :P

It is the Discovery "Vehicle and Technical area" if you look at the Forum front page so I guess anything Discovery goes.

I like being able to ask anything or show anything Disco in here but I do think some of the stuff rescently has been ...well....a bit weird  :?

Just waiting for the view down onto the roof and the view up from below to be covered and I can write the next Discovery modding book

I don't mind the new guys asking questions some good some a little daft but thats part of the fun we were all new to it once and sometimes a realy good thread comes out of the daftest question so all in all I'm Happy the way it is :D
so many hills , so little time ....
discovery TD5
work in progress...lol

Well, it's Mudclub, innit?..........we're all a bit more easy going and our lines are more widely blurred than most other clubs.  :D

One thing that you will notice here is that whatever you ask, and in whatever section you ask it, you will always get helpful advice and more often than not, offers of help in the way of giving up personal time!! I still regard myself as a newcomer, but have been able to offer advice from my experiences as well as the odd spare part here and there, but the advice I have had back from other members must have saved me many hundreds of pounds.

As it says on the tin - one of the web's friendliest communities
