right here goes with an illuminating problem

i am now in the process of fitting a tubular bumper with a built in a frame i have also fitted a larger intercooler for my td5

what driving lights would people reccomend to fit on the a bar which give good lighting and wont block to much of the airflow to the intercooler also price may be a consideration as well

thanks fellow mudders
fail to prepare.. prepare to fail!

If it dont fit...force it. If ya cant force it...get a bigger hammer. If it breaks...it probably needed replacing anyway.

my rides
90 td5 h/top
tsx 350 honda quad
c125 husqvarna ride on
a builders wheel barrow

big lights are great, but may not equate to big illumination, i have 4 x 4" square Hellas on my rack and they are superb, http://members.mud-club.com/profiles/MudRat/gallery/90/0/b995d0a1b2f3c325a436093e15927b2c.JPG/  mind you at £35 each they aren't cheap!

All depends how much you want to spend, Cibie and Hella make great lights PIAA's are probably better still and light force by all accounts are fantastic. Personally I've got a mix of Hella 2000s and Cibie Oscar+s and Turinis. I've done many years of road rallying (in the dark) and decent lights cost, they also last longer, don't rust have toughened lenses etc For once bigger does mean better (to a point) larger reflectors are better and more efficient than small ones but design still matters. You don't see many rally cars running round with Wipac or Ring lights on - they'll do the job but it all depends how much you're willing to spend and what you want of em.

Well how many do you want to fit? and what type of A frame does it have. I mounted mine above the A frame.

if your fitting yours inside your A frame you might have to measure the max size you can fit in.
Never argue with a idiot. As they will only drag you down to there level and beat you with experience!>
