I've seen a conversion somewhere to put 7" round lamps in there.TBH though 100 watt lamps can be a waste of money, plus they aren't legal. The extra current drawn can cause power losses across other joints in thw wiring loom, best way to get the proper light out of them is to fit relays just behind each lamp.Another controversial fitment is HID. Currently about £50 a set to retro fit you wil get about 300% lilght output for only 35 watts.
Great link and exellent product, I'm going to buy some, any idea which lamps fit a 200 Discovery as I can't find the info on the list.
Hi guys,Ive been running HID in my headlights for a while. my original set were from HIDS4U and were quite expensive (around £200 about two years ago) they have been very reliable.I took allot of care in setting them up and they are aimed a little lower than say standard headlights,Ive just used 2 pairs of the Chinese H3 hid units for my roof bar, only cost .99p each plus £35 postage (both pairs totaled less than £80.00)Ive not had any problems dazzling other drivers.they give an amazing quality of light, the roof bar is quite amazing on the lanes.Andy
