Insurance - Pleasant surprise
« on: January 03, 2008, 15:43:09 »
So, I've just got off the phone from Adrian Flux.  I needed to insure Clyde 2.0, my new Discovery.  Including the 10% discount for mentioning Mud-Club, fully comprehensive cover for me and the missus (who will never drive it!) came to only £167.52.  I'm well chuffed.

Good to hear that some people get sensible quotes from 'em. They wanted £1900 to insure me on the Disco! Sureterm covered me for about £700.

I just rang them up and got a quote for the heavily mopdified bobtail told them the truth about everything even down to the details of unsure weather the locks work its parked on the lawn, keys always in it and jokingly said your more than welcome to take it for a run. (joke of course )

came back with a UNBEATABLE quote, so i just need to dust off wallet and "i'll be having that"
