gearbox whirring

just bought another 2.4 vm.cheap becos it got stuck in deep water and it filled the gearbox with water (same as my other one)but this one sat for two weeks afterwards with the water still inside,it now when driving it ,it 's fine in first bit noisy in second bit more noisy in third really noisy in forth and not so bad in fifth changed the oil but no different...thing is should i fill the box full of oil and try that or put out a request for a cheap second hand box and transfer box :?

Have you drained the transfer box ?
It might also be worth flushing the box through as it's a pressurised feed on these boxes.  Don't drive it FULL of oil though.
