Discoery N/S brake caliper

Hi guys i am after n/s/f  caliper for my 300tdi disco with ABS and wanted to know would any other caliper fit like from a 200tdi and does it have to be for a ABS model  :-k

As far as I'm aware the calipers of most other disco/RaRo/def with the same pipe arrangement will fit OK without affecting the ABS (all of the sensing/modulation etc is done elsewhere, the caliper just acts on whatever pressure is sent down the pipe).  Thing is though if you DO get one from another type I'd do the pair to be on the safe side as it could cause problems with the brake balance i.e. pulling.

In addition - I'd go for 110 calipers as they are more powerfull for the same disc size..........

have had a look on rave mikey there isn't a different caliper shown for non abs and abs

But you can't use a RRC one, they are always 2 pipe.

Assuming you have a TDi then yours will be non-vented too.  IIRC any non-vented Disco (or Defender) should fit.

Thanks guys i will add that to the list of things to do  :roll: my fuel lift pump has just packed up and when i woke up this morning i found some little **** had cut the wifes fuel lines on her astra and stole all the petrol  :evil: and left the rest to leak out all over the drive  :'(  :'(

I,m not sure when they changed but there are different calipers on the early 200 Tdi,s and the 300Tdi,s.

If you cant fix it with Duct tape you havent used enough duct tape.
