BBC Biased again

They interviewed the woman who was on Monday Nights program who's daughter was "Killed by a dangerous driver".

The driver of the cement truck was acquitted as the bike was totally in his blind spot; if the law has said he is not guilty is that not libel to say that on TV?

My thoughts on the reanons for our attitude to road safety is the British "support the under dog mentality"

Basically who ever is the worst of in an incident surley cant be to blame?

If (like reported on here) somone tries to mug you and you flatten them, you are the guilty one.
If a pedestrian step out in front of you and you hit them and they get hurt its your fault, surely no one would put them selves in danger so it MUST be your fault.
If a car is hit by a lorry it MUST be the lorry drivers fault as no one in there right minds would pull out in front of a lorry.

Of course anyone who drives knows full well that thats all rubbish, I used to live near a road which had two crossings about 100 yds appart.  You frequently saw people cross between the crossings and even then walk straight past one so its not like they even saved a walk!

Everything has to be someones fault.

How is Eating at the wheel or using items like teapots a "common" driving distraction?

I've seen people eating at the wheel. However, using teapots is a new one!

Interestingly they list pedestrians as a distraction. Yep, some of the terminally befuddled ones drive us all to distraction...

Well, in the summer on a hot day with a good looking female walking along the pavement in not many clothes, I would say is a distraction  :lol: :lol: :lol:

We hardly every get the condition relating to the attractiveness of the female round these parts, never mind any of the other factors, regardless of whether they occur within the same timeframe or not!

Eating at the wheel is very common ... why do you think so many HGV drivers are overweight  :lol: :lol:

Not see teapots but have seen drivers pouring from thermos flasks as they drive along  [-X
