every now and again radio 2 plays a right good classic track but 99% of the time its all absolute *****. all they ever seem to play is ABBA and ELO and all the rest of the music destined for room 101

I like ELO - Radio 2 don't play all that much of it!

......is it true that the older you get, the higher up the bbc radio scale you go? i usually listen to radio 1 (if i`ve listened to the same CD 18 times over), but a lot of the "older" people i work with listen to radio 2... my grandad listens to radio 4...... spot a pattern forming?

ELO are alright, but the likes of Franz ferdinand really do lick the rim of cheesy commercial babbins...

Radio 1 incidently do play some fantastic new/underground stuff, but unfortunatley its at stupid hours in the morning.. thats where i first heard venetian snares!

..no metallica, pantera, slayer etc tho :undecided: but the breakbeat, and the more "unusual" stuff makes up for it

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong
