Ammo Boxes
« on: January 10, 2008, 14:44:36 »
Just had two large ammo boxes delivered, with plans to bolt in the back of the Landy for storage. What’s the best method to paint them, as they will be exposed to all weather. Thought about black, probably better than brown with ‘Explosives’ stickers on!!!

Drill the holes for fixing them then get them galvanised  :D  Otherwise a good clean, rust treatment, Hammerite No1 & Hammerite top coat should do the job.  As it's going against alli I would put some rubber or neoprene between the box & Landy to stop the  dissimilar metals corrosion.
Did everyone see that?  Because I will NOT be doing it again!

Personally I would hammerite them ;)

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you on experience.

Hammerite the boxes and give the the original content of the boxes to the scrotes one round at a time, starting at the knee caps and working upwards

Maybe, but there I suspect it was only one individual that did a smash and grab on my car earlier this week.
