REAL offroader - Tatra..
« on: January 10, 2008, 21:09:35 »
i really REALLY need one of these.. [-o<.. think of how practical it would be! (overcrowded supermarket carparks for instance?)
theres a few vids on the tube of these awsome machines, some are 10x10, and are pretty much unstoppable.. i draw your attention to 5.20 - i tried this in the pickup, with a bollard at wickes (not planned) but didnt quite have the same effect......
also check out 8.00 - just look at the cab, and the bloke sat in it.. how scared would you be?!

CZECH it out!

..ooo, embedded!  :afro:

Ok, I think I've worked out where part of a lottery win would go...

Might be a bit unwieldy for greenlaning though?

I realy could do with seeing truck trials in the flesh. Every time I see videos like that it just makes them look like they are struggling with terrain which a well sorted 4x4 buggy would have crossed with ease. Just gotta love the black smoke and the noise though :D It may just be me but large turbo diesels under load generally make very nice noises.
