range rover 3.9 se

yesterday done about 80-100 miles and car never missed abeat perfect but then
this morning went out and nothing would not fire at all  check the spark and its very weak
is this the dizzy module (3 pin ) or the coil ? :-k

Could be either... but the other thing to check is the leads from the coil to the amp on the side of the dizzy. small +ve & -ve leads. that are spade grips at the coil, go into the harness but are then a single lead with a two or hree pin plug at the amp module on the dizzy. Mine was loose fitting and corroded at this plug and it kept stalling then refusing to start.

thanx 4 your thoughts but now fixed was coil  cheap fix 16 pound so i,m now  :dance:

1980 SIII Lightweight 2.25 Petrol - completely standard.
1991 Range Rover Vogue SE 3.9 V8 - now on LPG (sorted!), 2" lift, mud tyres, and more to come...
