Anyone know of any good Motorcycle Forums?

Not an owners club or regional club, but the sort of Mudclub equivalent for all bikes... Friendly, informative and helpful.

Good on you, there are less and less people prepared to take the test now. Mainly because it's getting ever more difficult and expensive.

Personally I think as far as traffic congestion goes you just can't beat a bike, makes enviromental benefits too depending on what and how you ride, I get a shade under 60mpg out of my bike!!!!

Watch out for the diesel............. ;)

My 125 gives me about 120MPG :shock: It costs £5 to fill up and goes on for ever. I first rode it in August and have used it almost everyday since what ever the weather.

UK Bike Forum is quite good, there are one or two knobs but you get them everywhere these days. All sorts on there from complete novices to grisly old un's.

Wish my bike would cost a fiver to fill and get 120mpg.
I can only get about 110 miles out of a full tank and if i ride it so i have to change my undies when i get home it can get down to the low 80's.Your right about the bug thing ,after a crap day at work in summer time thers nothing better than having a ride out then find a nice country pub and have a orange juice and lemonade with lots of ice
Roll on summer.
Ps get that test done as bigger bike equal bigger grins

bikersoracle.com - have model specific areas (sort of getting towards 'owners clubs') - but also 'general spouting and ranting' section, ride out section etc.  I've found v useful for the VFR Vtec - put one of those high up your list after the test............. !!! Best all round bike ever by a long chalk - maybe I'm biased a bit.   Age

From personal experience i'd say that if it's an everyday bike look for a one with shaft drive.

I used to do dispatch and there's nothing worse than messing around with greasy orrible chains and sprockets :evil:

Can't fault that thought, not as forgiving as a chain drive though  :rolleyes:
