URGENT HELP.. Shock lenghts

hi all. am in desperate need of new shocks for the front of haribo   :D spent the whole morning at the local scrappies (soaked and freezing)  :'( removing 1 end of loads of shock to measure the closed and open sizes but cant find what i need  :'( i will happily buy new from my local motor factors but need to know what vehicle to order for  :? . i need a closed size of 41.5 cm and an open of 52 cm anyone got any ideas  everything else on her is done and need these fitted by Saturday so i can go and play Sunday..   [-o<
H Reg (SU) Sami. 410 t case Rascal lift with rears up front, Snorkel & Breathers , Disks all round, roll cage & harnesses, 31" muds & HARIBO paint job (thats what happens when you let your boys 4&7 loose with the paint)

Hi have you tried Astra mk2 rear shocks of a 1991 Astra hatchback. this is a pic of mine fully extended compared to my old standard shocks also a pic of my d-flex nearly opened all the way also check your brake lines are long enough i had to change mine.

The only problem i have with my shocks is there is not much upward travel so the ride is a bit rough but then its an SJ so what the hell. I should really extended my shock towers a ittle but then i will need longer shocks.

as baz says mk2 astra rear shox get the van ones as i think they are a bit stiffer fit these on the front of ur sj and get some transit shox for ur rears the transit ones are a bit longer than the astra versions id say ull need maybe +3 lift to fit both

You can get a gas version of the astra/nexia shocks and they work a bit quicker as smoother than the oil ones usually a couple of quid more at the most.
