I spoke to my MOT tester about this.He told me if the emissions were ok there wouldnt be a problem however im not convinced myself..

I think i'll try it on the next test..

as with gav my x-90 passed 3 mot's with its cat removed just got a v6 vit the cat was blocked so took it off and smashed all the insides out and put it back on so hopefully this one will pass too :grin:

Depends on age of vehicle. I beleive up to K, if the car was fitted with one, it MUST remain, but you can wrangle it. After K, it must have it. Dates may be wrong but thats the gist.

Audi is an H reg, never batted an eyelid at the fact it has been de-catted. even though the rear window proclaimes 'Shon Mit Katalyzer Technic' (Fitted with catalyser technology)
