85% of people suffering from cancer "do not" smoke
That really shocked me... i thought smoking caused cancer.

my grandad died from cancer about 20 years ago and had smoked most of his life.......... however my mum died from cancer 6 years ago........ she never smoked and avoided places that allowed smoking............ my uncle died from cancer nearly two years ago.......... he smoked a pipe for a couple of years in the RAF from the age of 18  when he was doing his national service but died age 68 so hadn't smoked for most of his life, also avoided places where smoking was allowed.  My dad had skin cancer which was cut out and he is now healthy again........ he has never smoked in his life.......... smoking can cause cancer but it isn't always the cause.
