Folding steps

This might sound daft ....
but ..how are the folding steps fitted to the LR's ..
anyone got piccys so i can see

ohhh, dont go there!!! i cut mine off with the stihl saw. needs a picture to explain the mountings, just like bits of angle iron that go upwards somewhere!

They get all bent off road.

They are bracketed under the door sill to the chassis rail. A shelf can be slung across them for things like battery carrier, aircompressor and air tank (only mentioning that as that was on my truck when I got it, fitted with airbrake system)

very easy, the one we had on had the whole landy dropped on it and it fell off  :lol: get sliders

So far the only use for folding steps is to warn you that you are about to cave your tank in on the series 2 (tank under drivers seat). as such they don't fold any more.

now now there is nout rong or rite with a bungee cord holding it shut :oops: (it baffles them wen they push the button and it dont do out :lol: :lol:
