Superb sound
« on: January 28, 2008, 21:09:16 »
Got back this moring from seeing Linkin Park at the M.E.N. Arena .

And I have to say that it was by far the best show I have ever seen in my entire life (and I've seen a few)

The sound was loud but still clear every word could be heard and the stage show was amazing

Even if you don't like the type of music I'd say go see them it will change your mind from the first note till the last nobody sat down .

They even shot some footage for their next video in the que outside and on stage so me and the kids might be in it.

anybody else go??

Took my lad to see Linkin Park at Rock City, Nottingham when they did a recording for Radio 1 (Live on One, or something :-k). Would agree, they are one of, if not the best band I have seen. Again I have seen a few, also played in bands for 20 years or so.

In the end though, a lot is down to whether you like the music

Biffy cliro supported and was pants

I Have to say though that their new album did sound a little limp when I heard it but when they play live they rock everything up a  lot ,Some of the stuff sounded as Heavy as Slayer it was just sssoooooo good , really heavy yet you could pick out the notes and the good thing was they mixed the old with the new so the croud were bouncing all the way through

I was about 30 feet from front of the sound stack on the right of the stage so my vid is so distorted by the power of the music you can't here anything but this shows the wake up bit at the start and a bit if the first song ,I just can't get it out of my head now :D :D Still best gig ever
