I did see a bulletin today that gave a 60% chance of heavy snow in the north of the UK and Northern Ireland, decreasing in % chance the further South you went.
Which means that Hampshire will get naff all as usual!

think i`m going off snow.... last time i ended up in a ditch (got straight out ok tho)

....and at dinner today i had to cross the carpark against the stuff coming hard at me sideways thanks to gusts around 60mph!

........................but a good dusting over the weekend will do me nicely!!

4" on some weather websites (although all disagree)
on site had weather warnings for today and tommorrow of blizzards and heavy snow, yet their forecast showed sunshine and light showers?!!

Nothing here, bar a few flurries of Sleet.

I was in Barnsley this morning & expected to at least see some on part of the Pennine hills to the west of the town
Wetherby (a few miles north of Leeds) apparantly had snow this afternoon.
That'll have been a bit contradictory, as there's a dry Nordic Ski trail about 2 miles out of the town centre

We definately need some,i even took my son up to Xscape in Castleford for a snowboarding lesson on Sat. night but it didn't seem right :?,playing on the white stuff INDOORS.
It's only about 4 miles from us, so we tend to go there to the cinema quite often
My wife had a set of skiiing lessons there a couple of weeks ago. Now she wants me to go too!!!

Then did you go & spend money in the 'Land Rover Gear' shop?? (that you pass on the way to the slope)

I tend to browse in Evans Cycles on the external face.
Mindst you, browsing is expensive, I've ended up buying 2 new bikes from there in the past 6 months!!

As I went down Birkwood Hill this morning on the 'school-run', I could see a 'covering of white' on the hills up towards the top of Penistone, & further across towards HolmeMoss

I can't vouch for the actual amount though.

But having just looked at the BBC travel, it looks like HolmeMoss is listed as 'Just Passable'

Hmmm :-k :-k
I'm free this afternoon, till 15:00, do I feel a 'road-trip' coming on??? ;)
