What's the worst thing you've seen a big engine go into?
Blue,  1988  Range Rover 3.5 EFi with plenty of toys bolted on
Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.

One of those with a jet engine :)

Search Jet Powered Kitten.

Have also seem to F16 engines in a fire truck (Hawaiian Fire Dept)

Engine from a  Lynx in a powerboat (Nye Thermodynamics)

Jet Engine on a go-ped, you know, things with the trolley wheels.

I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I've seen that V8 Kitten... it was actually quite nicely engineered IIRC. It was many years ago though. Must have been mid '90's. Sat alongside it was a Ford BDA engined Skoda Rapide.... again mid mounted!

What about 'Shockwave'???

The triple Pratt & Witney engines allow this antic (for example)

In a typical show, an aircraft approaches the jet truck from behind, flying at about 200 mph (321.8 km/h).
The Shockwave jet truck accelerates from zero to 300 mph in about 11 seconds in an attempt to catch up with the plane overhead.
