No apologies for this
« on: January 30, 2008, 10:42:02 »
All,

As stated I make no apologies for this, but would appreciate your support.

Mike (my co-driver) and I have just been given a place on this years Mac 4x4 Challenge (don't ask, but there was a mix up and our initial entry got lost).  This leaves us 5 weeks to get everything in place together with trying to raise a heap of cash.

This will be our 5th year on the event so we are looking to make it a good one.

If you feel you can help then please do so at www.justgiving.com/mac4x4team27

Many thanks in advance.

I'll sponsor thee for the usual £20 Simon,  even if you don't win it (again) ...  although, I'll have to do it when I have some money :)

Jim and Daz,

Thanks very much for your support.  Like you say, a good cause and with 4x4's being the good guys for a change.

Well, 8 hours until we set off for the start.  From there, who knows.

Hopefully the car will hold out.  Have had to rebuild the front brakes and install a pair of Freelander fans as the viscous has packed up.

Good luck to anyone who is taking part, see you at the off!!

As said above. There is no need to apologise at tall.  I more that most know how much this money helps, being 23 years old and told i have cancer is a big blow and know for a fact the even know Ive been fighting cancer for nearly 2 years i wouldn't be here still fighting without good people like yourself giving your time energy and money to these amazing Charity.

So get you walllets out and just give what you can its amazing what happens when a lot give a little.

Your never too old to grow up.
