hmm worrying as my disco falls under the recall of "involuntary operation of air bag".

How do I know if this was fixed or not as my air bag light is on!  :?

None for the Audi 90 (there are about 15 factory recalls, 2 serious, one being a fire risk, that I know of)
206CC not listed
Suzuki Vitaras aparently wernt made before 93
Not even lookign at the disco ones:)

I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

One of the manuals I have (either Haynes or LR owners manual) says that you should replace the airbag every ten years. I'd guess that this is why your light is on!

Thankfully mine doesn't have one, so I don't have to worry about random inflation!

the air bag light came on about a week after I bought it when the pulley at the end of the crankshaft wasnt done up tight enough and threw the timing out and all sorts. Wasnt happy or pretty. anyway. The guy had to do some welding to undo a bolt as it was well and truly stuck on and disconnected the battery. Since then the light has been on. That was erm :-k, er, :-k about 3years and 3 months ago.

Probobly the welding. May just need an ECU reset.

just about any garage should be able to reset an airbag light, its basic software to do that, dont know that much about it, but my mate can reset anything i think, just about, its the more specific engine managements ect that are more software specific.
