Nothing here in sunny suffolk, just 40mph winds and blue sky.

thank god its not like yesterday, 60mph winds and rain and crossing a tidal river was not nice :pale::pale: :pale: :pale:

Minor blizzard here in Rugby since 4:30- looks like it's starting to settle, should make for an interesting journey home.

here in daventry just south of Rugby sky went very dark, hail stones came down and winds picked up then turned to snow, covered car roofs then stopped.

Could be interesting driving to Banbury then to Bicester to restore a canal this weekend. Hmm :-k Could be nippy me thinks!

Picture of the blizzard cloud about 5 minutes before it hit. Dramatic looking because it arrived exactly at sunset.

Snow all gone after half an hour though.

After all that fuss, nothing here

You have to laugh about it, the met office goes into a panic and throws out weather warnings and then only a small % get a couple of inches.

A few years ago in Czech they has 5 foot... now thats snow!

It was indeed. A few cars stuck trying to drive up the hills in these parts getting stuck and sliding back down.

This was the scene first thing from the bedroom window.

All gone now though. Those venturing out into the Peak District will have had a good time first thing today.

It was belting it down from Thirlmere to Windermere at 6 this morning when I was driving back home. I had to be in my car and not the 4x4
