depends on if you want coils or leaves.

leaves are easier, but coils flex better
suzuki vitara on hilux axles with leaf springs.
35/13.50 mudzilla's
snorkel
twin t cases.
twin ramsey 8000 winches.
procomp e3000 shocks with 14" of travel.
more flex yeah baby
now with V12 power

It would be coils, i would use jiminy front radius arms welded to the chassis to stop the axle from moving front to rear.
Any advice is grately appreciated

Hardest part of a live axle conversion on a vit is removing all the crap first, shock towers etc etc, you can use the same brakes and lines without any issues and as you want to go coils, i would go for longer control arms with semi-rotating end joints for max flex and dislocation ability, you will need to mod the transfer case and prop so it holds into the transfer at that end and the other end floats with the axle. :D

Thanks for your advice Friskydisco,

would the mod of the front prop be just disconecting the uj nearest the transfer box then adding another suk prop which is on a slider so the prop extends rather than pulling the prop out of the t box?

Cheers,

Chris.

Near enough, drill and o ring the bolt through the transfer and prop end, this will hold the prop in the transfer and stop oil from leaking.
