Camden market
« on: February 03, 2008, 22:33:01 »
Went ther today, WOW   What a great place, Totally amazed at the very diverse nature of all the stalls/shops,
There were some wicked clothing places and some of it i had never seen before  ;)
Started off in the indoor market inside "the electric ballroom" a well known club, even smelt of beer from the night before    :->
The assssortment of food outlets were a treat also, all sorts of countrys catered for and them some,
Lots of intresting charactures there , Punks goths, hard core ravers and most others
We managed about 4 or so hours there , well worth a visit even to people watch  :afro:

Not everyones cuppa im sure , But for those who wish a "different " day out ---------

I think technically they're more Cyberpunk than just techno, but then again it's rather difficult to tell...

I did hear an urban legend that the last Vulcan to fly to the Falklands war had second hand valves in them souced from a stall at Camden lock market.

Myself I used to like the record stalls.

I saw a Moby gig in Camden several years ago, ISTR one of the support bands was trying to create music using an angle grinder and scaffold pipe.
