Im not an expert but, due to the gyroscopic effect of the tyres and cornering forces i would have thought these would be dangerous, because of the unsprung weight involved in turning a wheel....... might be just be but i still want lead weights
Ive been reading about Dyna Beads for balancing tyres.Could you not use the BB pellets used in softguns... these are a lot cheaper??
cant see how that would work myself and if scorpion sell it theve eiher knicked the idea or its auld toshwouldnt trust them as far as i could see them :^o
And no, I don't think gun pellets would work, they are too soft, a lot is made of the ceramic qualities that they don't wear much and keep their shape, gun pellets would rub and create a lot of heat and possibly melt together inside the tyre I think.
I think Im going to do the same and add them.It was just a thought when I saw the advert for them that soft gun pellets would work.In the advert they show a fluid bottle... whats that for??
I have a set of Simex Xtreme Treckers... would I need more than 8oz???Thanks for the advice by the way.
Exactly what I thought.... try and see.No problems to remove them if they dont work.
I dont balence me tyres anyway, might stick some beads in though.Ive always found easy start soo slow burning for seating tyres on the rim
