Should explain my comment, last time the Grand was filled up there was a slight overfill....inside did smell of petrol for a couple of days....

try running it without the fuel cap on if the smell stops its the breather hole in fuel cap blocked

Will try that, but where is the breather hole on cap? cos i just looked and cant c where it would b??? if that is the prob.....what then 2 do??? change fuel cap or can i simply clear the ''breather hole'', providing that is the prob!   :-k

im not sure whewre it would be somtimes the breaters in the fuel cap somtimes its in the neck ot the fuel tank, i only say it could be that because thats what it was on an mr2 i owned
