side exit...

having one fitted next week on the 110 dc...coming out the back rear panel...Now i having a 70mm bore on the pipe, and loosing the rear silencer...also gor the mid pipe on without the silencer...will sound nice, but whats the score with me MOT later in the year...do i need to change back?

The side exit on my 110 V8 came out ahead of the rear wheel. It was ear splitting at full chat  :twisted: Always went through the MOT.

On my disco the MOT inspector said due to it being a diesel the noise wont affect it that much and providing it will go through the emisions test should be ok :police:

where did you find a side exit that comes out on the rear panel?been looking but can only find them coming out before the rear wheel.

thats exactly what im after but they only do them for the TD5 :'(

Would have thought the rear section of the exhuast would be very similar. Have you given them a call, they might be able to help.

I had one made up in stainless and fitted by a place in the black country for around £150 for my 200tdi 90 but i had to cut the hole myself. Im at work tonight so i havent got their number  on me. its been on for about a year with no problems. I fitted a devon finisher around the hole but PORNY makes i nice one with no visible bolts.

just got it back.....does sound nice and can hear the turbo whistle....they've done a good job, and tidy job...in all cost me £100, will speak to me mate Porny about the finishers...will get some pics tomora gang..Wait till the morning when i leave for work at 3.30 am, the nieghbours will love me :lol:...and when going thru the tunnels on the A38 Brum, will be a window down jobbie :dance:

Looks like a very good water trap, least the standard can mostly drain out if it ever sucks water or is that not the case?

nice on ada... had ian do mine the other week but not side exit just straight thought  with td5 back box sound nice  :lol:

forest 4wd is a grate place had robs crew cab in at the garage  a bit laterly  but it dose work hard hopefully there with mine again in a weel or two  :D
