Un bolt the door handle and door release. Use forked type prybar and gently ease the card off. You may need some new pins.

I use an old wide chisel, but same theory, and find it easier if you start from the bottom. If you are gentle you should be ok, and the odd pin missing when you replace shouldn't be a major problem.

Tip, do it on a warm day.  15 year old plastic will be brittle.

Yep this is the best way, or if you have a garage, warm it up in there, good luck

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

There is a tool you can get for the trim clips, but I don't have one (thenagain my door cards rattle ).  I think Halfrauds stock it.

Actually an old paitn scraper is ideal, just cut a small slot in it.

I was in the local focus DIY the other day, and they are doing a load of £1 stuff at the moment, they had a small flat pry bar, it has the V in the end and about an inch wide. I brought one as i think it will be just the job for this sort of thing, so long as i can find it the next time i want it  :-k
