Given similar prices, I would go for the Valeo. They are OE suppliers to many car companies. I'm sure the Britpart one would be fine though. Just my personal preference.

i wouldnt be given britpart let alone buy it, it is crap, all the things ive had in the past have broken almost straight away, and the build quality is hideous on some of the stuff. thats my opinion.

Go for the Valeo one.
I got a cheaper one (can't remmember the make) for mine, but took it straight back as the design incorporated vent holes in the body. Not much good on a vehicle that gets used in mud & water.

There are three main makes of starter - Prestolite (rhymes with S*** for good reason), Valeo, which are very popular, and then Bosch, which are the best and most expensive. I wouldn't fit a Britpart one unless I needed practice in replacing starters quite often :)

think ill get a Bosch, not a massive differance in price but best quality.
the valeo one i saw was second hand for £40, i got it mixed up with another one so thought it was new. dont think its worth the risk of a used one..

I'd buy Bosch without a seconds thought, valeo are good but think Lucas when you are considering it's quality.  If it were Britpart I'd want to know they had re-boxed something like a Valeo TBH.
