Bad luck week...!!!!!!!!
« on: March 10, 2008, 21:04:29 »
My week started Ok but couldn't get the same flights as a friend I'm going on Holiday with, not so bad as the flights I'm on are same day going and coming back and we land within twenty minutes of each other. Then on Wednesday I hit a Post office van going up hill at a set of lights, I'm telling  the insurance that he rolled back into me, the good news no damage to mine thanks to the D44 winch bumper I have now fitted.
Then on Saturday night hit another car when he suddenly stopped at a crossing to let some drunks across the road, God I hate my ABS,  again no damage to mine, but bloody hell what luck I'm having.....
Cheers.

Okay i will tell you whats a bad week......

Drove to manchester airport on monday to catch a flight to amsterdam (business trip).

Got stuck in traffic so missed the flights by 1min and the staff would not let me on......

Spent another 2.5 hours at the airport to try and get another flight but it was all booked up so had to come home......

when i got home i spent another 1.5 hours on the internet and got a flight 1 way in the morning from leeds bradford extra cost of £196.00.....

managed to get on that plane and got to amsterdam........

Completed my techy call and went to the hotel but because i had not arrived the night before they had let my room go to somone else so i spent another 3 hours last night without a car trying to find another hotel !!!

arrived for my flight back today. I was at the airport at 11am so i could have some dinner then catch the flight back to manchester that i had booked with my original flight....... oh no its not that easy ....... when you miss the outgoing flight the return trip get cancelled automatic !!!!

So i have just got a flight to leeds bradford at a cost of £199.00 which is flying tonight at 20.00hrs, however the boards have just said that its delay'd by a hour and half ...........

so as i write this i have been at the airport in amsterdam since 11.00 this morning and still have not sat on a plane!!!

Oh on the plus side its free wireless in the airport but lappy gone flat!!!

I'm just staying inside at the moment :(

Collin, don't blame your ABS, if you tried stopping a car without it and the wheels locked up you'd be surprised how much further it took to stop
