Kev Hobbit came round here with a joint that he wanted to replace. It looked like someone made it with a ball pein hammer...

No wonder it leaked.

I've just bought one on ebay for £15 inc postage, so probably a fiver off compared to my local motor factor... it's a sealey one so quality should be 'ok'

Right need to buy some pipe and some nut thingies that go on the end... only problem is I've no idea if they are metric or imperial..  Anyone know, 1990 2.5 tdi disco non abs model.

My 93 (200) is 10mm 1mm pitch and short. I had to use long as I'd run out and it doesn't make much difference bar the amount of thread left.

lovely jublly!  ta..  I used long ones on my emergency pipe I made up today and as you say only really affects amount of thread sticking out (didnt know that before today though!)

I'll buy a bag of metric ones I've seen on ebay then

Matthew
