Houndkirk on Sky Cops

At the end of the prog last night they showed a trail biker on Houndkirk having nearly chopped his leg off after falling off. Half expected to see a Mud Clubber come past.

It was a bit messy.
I must admit, I am very tempted to try for Hants Air Support Unit, but they don't use choppers. They have a fixed wing Britten Norman aircraft.
I'd probably get kicked off as I would want to fix twin .50 cal guns in the door and do low level strafing runs on the local trouble makers, or drop things on them. An airbourne crime prevention flight!

Oh thats easy to get round... just fit quad baton guns with barrel extensions, laser sights and chain gun type feeds. Just think how effective it could be at bringing a stolen car to a halt?  :twisted:

To say they have all the latest mapping technoolgy, why did they call it fox house moor? do copper navigate by pubs as well :-k

Quite possibly, but it was a TV programme and the coppers they filmed prior to that were churning up the peat above the Totley tunnel not far from Fox House, so I suspect the film crew had found themselves in there at some point and asumed the moors all around it were named after the pub!

Years ago I was taking a student union minibus to Oxford union, following the directions they had given me, to the letter.  Imagine my difficulty trying to get a LWB Transit down a cyclepath :roll:.  Fortuantely all the directions were by pub, so I was able to skip forewards a good few steps.
