having trouble turning disco of im getting power to the solinoid so i have ordered a new one but today
when i took it out to clean there was small bits of what looked like metal stuck to it clean of and blew hole out
seems to be fine at the mo what could these bit be anyone any ideas or is it deisel pump wearing out or in the tank

usually down to the pump breaking up , heard of this before, poor quality deisel dont help (low sulpher), you'll prob find itll be ok for a while then you'll have to clean it again ..alan.....

i only run it on good deisel not supermarket deisel but luckly i do have another pump thanks bilge rat

no worries, i made a plate simple design so you can change the pump without stripping the timing cover down ,was on a 300 .but works well , might be worth having a look save a bit of work . alan....
